This is a deep plate with a marble pattern made by Utsuwa Baume in Sakai, Osaka.

Size: φ21.5~22 x height about 3cm

Large deep plate/bowl. It is characterized by a gently raised rim that gives it a slightly distorted feel. Beaume's signature blue-gray marble pattern is beautiful. The smooth feel of the semi-porcelain clay is also noteworthy. At first glance, it looks cool and clean, but if you look closely, you can see the crystals and grill marks that are typical of pottery.

I feel that this work maintains a rare balance: it has a product-like feel, but it also has a strong sense of handiwork. I think it will be useful for everyday use because of its versatile shape and size.
