Toshikatsu Kimura / Kuroryu Ginsai Chubachi

A medium bowl made by Toshikatsu Kimura, a potter from Otsu, Shiga.

Size: φ15cm x height 5cm *Approximate size.

Although this piece may be mistaken for silverware, it does not use silver in its glaze, but instead uses a uniquely formulated glaze containing iron to create a metallic shine.

The dull, shining silver texture and the organic black makeup clay decoration (kuroryu) give it a cool look.

*This product is prone to staining due to the oil contained in the sauce, so we strongly recommend sealing it before first use. Please take a look at the instruction manual that comes with the product when you receive it, and try it out.
