This is a rim plate by Kasama artist Washiko Washizawa. Although he has only been an independent artist for a short time, his unique stone-like textured style is very attractive.

Since this is a properly glazed piece, there is no need to take special care when handling it as long as you seal it like regular pottery. You can use it on a daily basis.

This type has a layer of glossy glaze applied only to the center of the opening.
