Oval plates by Masakazu Yoshida, also known as Yoshida Pottery, who makes pottery in Ashiya. This is the glaze type of "Sabiiro Soot" that led us to carry it in our store. The green crystals and metallic burnt marks on the matte black base were so beautiful that I fell in love at first sight. The slightly distorted feel unique to Tatara construction is also cute.

Convenient size that can be used for bread plates, pasta plates, and main dishes.
