Bathtub bowl by Utsuwa Baume in Sakai, Osaka. This is the S white type.

Our house doesn't have any white tableware at all. What do you think about that as a tableware store? Just when I thought it was someone else's problem, Mr. Baume brought me a new work.

This is a beautiful white bowl made from Baume's classic smooth semi-porcelain clay. The lines on the edges are really effective.

In a store full of unique pieces, this may be said to be the one with the cleanest atmosphere at the moment.

(However, I feel that the idea that it was inspired by an enamel cooking container is a bit strange...)

As the name suggests, the bathtub-shaped bowl has plenty of depth and can be used to hold soup or main side dishes.
