SEIKA pottery in Kyoto Keiichiro Asai's works with sour colors named blue glaze and moss glaze.
Size: Diameter 8-8.5 cm x height 7-7.7 cm
Not only can it be used as a teacup or coffee cup, but it can also be used as a small bowl for small side dishes, or as a soba choko.
It has a very attractive texture with a unique luster, but the flow of the glaze is unique.
It looks like the epidermis of a tree or the scales of a large fish, giving it an unusual atmosphere.
The gap between the appearance and the impression you get when you hold it in your hands is also interesting.
Keiichiro Asai has a workshop in Ikeo, a village in the mountains of Kyoto.
Using carefully selected clay and glazes made from natural raw materials, we create beautiful vessels with vibrant colors and unique glaze flows that add flair to your daily dining table.
