This is a drooling dish by Washiko Washizawa, a young artist from Kasama.
Size: Approximately 19 cm in diameter x 4.4 cm in height
*Approximate size.
This is a flat plate by Kasama artist Washiko Washizawa. Although he has only been an independent artist for a short time, his unique style of stone-like textures is very attractive.
I molded the entire piece on a potter's wheel and then cut the rim freehand. I like the organic curved form, somewhat like an amoeba. This stone-like texture is also irresistible.
Since this is a properly glazed piece, there is no need to take special care when handling it as long as you seal it like regular pottery. You can use it on a daily basis.
